Installing The Fence Post Repair Kit

Remove all debris and any dirt away from the work area and repair area.

Leave any post left in the concrete in the hole. The EZ Mender brace is wedged between the wall of the concrete and the post. If the existing post is broken off it can be secured after the EZ Mender is completely wedged into the concrete.

Using the sledge hammer pound the EZ Mender brace at least 11 inches into the concrete. It is best to use two braces opposite of eachother.

Once both repair braces are installed into the concrete attach the post to the braces using the six supplied screws that come in the kit or you can bolt the post through the braces. Using the level make sure the post is level and plumb.

Inspecting The Repair

When done inspect the work and stability of the fence. Replace any damaged fence boards and resecure any loose boards. Avoid letting boards touch soil this will result in rot.
